Terms of Service

Version 1.0 — effective 6 July 2026

01The service

RoamDeck consists of the RoamDeck app for Android, the RoamDeck Server application for Windows ("Software"), and optional connectivity services (rendezvous and relay servers) that help your devices reach each other ("Services"). The provider is the RoamDeck developer, Gabriele Contarini, Italy ("we"). These Terms govern the Services and the use of the app; the Windows Software is licensed under its EULA.

02Your account-less setup

There are no accounts. Devices pair directly via QR code and PIN, and keys stay on your devices. You are responsible for keeping pairing codes secure and for revoking paired devices you no longer trust.

03Free plan and Pro subscription

• The Free plan has functional limits (e.g. one PC, limited features and relay speed) that we may adjust over time.
• Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) purchased through Google Play, which handles billing, trials, renewal and cancellation. Prices and trial terms are shown in the store before purchase. Cancel anytime in Play Store → Subscriptions; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds follow Google Play's refund policies. If you are an EU consumer, by starting the subscription you request immediate provision of the digital service; statutory withdrawal rights, where applicable, are exercised through Google Play.

04Acceptable use

You may use RoamDeck only on computers you own or are expressly authorized to access. It is forbidden to use it to access third-party systems without authorization, to violate any law, or to interfere with the Services (e.g. abuse of the relay). We may suspend Service access in case of abuse.

05Availability and changes

The Services are provided as-is and may be updated, throttled or discontinued. We do not guarantee continuous availability. Features relying on third-party infrastructure (e.g. the one-time voice-model download from huggingface.co) depend on that infrastructure's availability.

06Software and open source

The Software includes third-party open-source components listed in the THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt file installed with it. Their licenses prevail over anything in these Terms or the EULA for those components.

07Warranty and liability

THE APP AND THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID IN THE PREVIOUS 12 MONTHS (OR EUR 10 ON THE FREE PLAN). Nothing excludes liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor affects mandatory consumer rights.

08Termination

You can stop using RoamDeck at any time (uninstall the app and the Software). We may terminate or suspend the Services for material breach of these Terms.

09Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Italian law. EU consumers keep the mandatory protections of their country of residence and may sue or be sued there. The European Commission's ODR platform has been discontinued; EU consumers can use national ADR bodies where available.

10Changes and contact

01Il servizio

RoamDeck è composto dall'app Android, dall'applicazione RoamDeck Server per Windows ("Software") e da servizi di connettività opzionali (server di rendezvous e relay) che aiutano i tuoi dispositivi a raggiungersi ("Servizi"). Il fornitore è lo sviluppatore di RoamDeck, Gabriele Contarini, Italia ("noi"). Questi Termini regolano i Servizi e l'uso dell'app; il Software Windows è concesso in licenza secondo il suo EULA.

02Nessun account

Non esistono account: i dispositivi si abbinano direttamente con QR e PIN, e le chiavi restano sui tuoi dispositivi. Sei responsabile della custodia dei codici di abbinamento e della revoca dei dispositivi che non ritieni più fidati.

03Piano Free e abbonamento Pro

• Il piano Free ha limiti funzionali (es. un PC, funzioni e velocità relay limitate) che potremmo modificare nel tempo.
• Pro è un abbonamento con rinnovo automatico (mensile o annuale) acquistato tramite Google Play, che gestisce fatturazione, prova gratuita, rinnovo e disdetta. Prezzi e condizioni della prova sono mostrati nello store prima dell'acquisto. Disdici quando vuoi da Play Store → Abbonamenti; l'accesso continua fino a fine periodo pagato.
• I rimborsi seguono le politiche di Google Play. Se sei un consumatore UE, avviando l'abbonamento chiedi l'esecuzione immediata del servizio digitale; l'eventuale diritto di recesso si esercita tramite Google Play.

04Uso consentito

Puoi usare RoamDeck solo su computer tuoi o che sei espressamente autorizzato a usare. È vietato usarlo per accedere a sistemi di terzi senza autorizzazione, violare la legge o interferire con i Servizi (es. abuso del relay). In caso di abusi possiamo sospendere l'accesso ai Servizi.

05Disponibilità e modifiche

I Servizi sono forniti così come sono e possono essere aggiornati, limitati o dismessi. Non garantiamo disponibilità continua. Le funzioni che dipendono da infrastrutture di terzi (es. il download una tantum del modello vocale da huggingface.co) dipendono dalla loro disponibilità.

06Software e open source

Il Software include componenti open-source di terze parti elencati nel file THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt installato con esso. Per quei componenti, le rispettive licenze prevalgono su questi Termini e sull'EULA.

07Garanzia e responsabilità

L'APP E I SERVIZI SONO FORNITI "COSÌ COME SONO", SENZA GARANZIE DI ALCUN TIPO. NEI LIMITI MASSIMI CONSENTITI DALLA LEGGE, LA NOSTRA RESPONSABILITÀ COMPLESSIVA È LIMITATA A QUANTO HAI PAGATO NEI 12 MESI PRECEDENTI (O 10 EUR SUL PIANO FREE). Nulla esclude la responsabilità per dolo o colpa grave, né tocca i diritti inderogabili dei consumatori.

08Cessazione

Puoi smettere di usare RoamDeck in ogni momento (disinstallando app e Software). Possiamo interrompere o sospendere i Servizi in caso di violazione sostanziale di questi Termini.

09Legge e controversie

Questi Termini sono regolati dalla legge italiana. Il consumatore UE conserva le tutele inderogabili del proprio Paese di residenza e il foro del consumatore. Per le controversie sono utilizzabili gli organismi ADR nazionali, ove disponibili.

10Modifiche e contatti
